The great yoga adventure

The great yoga adventure

Hi all,

So...somehow I seem to have made myself a deal with @CheerBear that we are both going to venture into the super scary world of yoga next Monday. I'm SCARED!!!! I've been trying to psych myself up to go to a class for about a year and now thanks to a pesky little care bear, it seems like it is going to happen next Monday.

I have my mat and my outfit (and thanks to @Former-Member and @Former-Member I know to wear underpants under yoga pants ). Now I just need to find some courage. Hmmm...courage...I'm sure I have some here SOMEWHERE in my shell...

Only six sleeps away. This sounds way too close. Yep, this little turtle is going to need to do some serious psyching up before next Monday!!! All encouragement is warmly welcome.

Great to hear you went yoga-ing and it helped @Phoenix_Rising ☺

If being a starfish on the floor, and a rolled up ball under a blanket, an occasional tree while brushing teeth, and doing some awkward legs up the wall poses count, then yep I'm still yoga-ing 😆

It's definitely on my want to try to get back into properly list though.

@CheerBear still yoga-ing - CheerBear style.

Yes, I'm sure I would look silly doing that face yoga (I haven't tried it).

I'm still yoga-ing at my 2 yoga classes (every week).

I'm not doing any home practice though (like they always tell us we should)...

I miss my yoga classes. Got an email from them the other day saying they hadn't seen me for a while. My membership is on hold and will resume when I do - hopefully in another three months.

Tears me apart when I walk past the studio and see people walking in and out of the place wishing it was me. Yoga really grounded me and I need some of that now.

I yoga-ed again this evening. I am really getting back into the swing of it now that my arm is feeling better. @soul I can certainly relate to how hard it is not yoga-ing when it is so super grounding. I super hope you are able to return to it in three months - if not sooner!

Happy that you were able to enjoy the benefits of yoga again @Phoenix_Rising. Maybe I can find some modified exercises or doable poses on the internet.

Hi @soul@frog

Hi @Shaz51

I'm still yoga-ing at classes 2 times a week. None at home, so far.

Psychologist asked me to demonstrate the Shoulder-stand pose for her (during appointment).

I felt a bit silly, but that's the 1st time that I've done a yoga pose for (with) anyone, outside classes.
