I have given up now - no one can say it was not without a fight. But then no one on heaven and earth would give a damn anyway. I gave from the heart and it was a joy to help others. I felt such peace with that. I never did it for anything in return ever, I did it because I truly cared and felt so much genuine compassion towards others. I was promised dreams and peace would come true even though I never asked. It felt so good to know I made someone's lives a bit better.

Why is it that people like me are then faced with so much heartache, injustice, trauma and adversity that seeks to do everything in its power to destroy that good, to take the little good and peace I had, to utterly destroy me. Why?

I had always been there when possible others times of need - now that I truly need someone I have been all but abandoned by those I knew and those in the spirit. I realise now everything was a lie and feel utterless helpless and lost. I have lost everything and don't see the point in being here. I hope I don't wake up to another day of despair.

Thanks @outlander. But unfortunately I dont have any My Drafts folder. I guess that means I've left it too late to try and retrieve it? I dont suppose it is held indefinitely.

Really annoyed at myself. I put a lot of time and effort into my reply. All I can think is that I accidently hit cancel instead of post. Hubby was yelling at me at the time, so who knows.

@Former-Member Really sorry. Will need to try to recreate my post. Simply no energy to do so now. Feel sick with disappointment. 😕

@Former-Member this is the desktop site so should be the same as your seeing.

The drafts is just under 'private statistics' so ive edited that out of the pic here

The little dots on the side just ignore. I took a screenshot on my phone and thats on my screen not part of the site.

Hopefully it helps @Former-Member im forever loosing posts or i foget click off or back and half the post is still there so fingers crossed yours is still there esp if you wrote it on computer . It generally saves every 2 minutes or so.

Hi @Former-Member - that is so frustrating when losing a long post as so much effort goes into it. Sometimes I have gone back and hit "reply" on the post I was responding to and above it says "autosave" then "load" or "cancel". I then hit "load" and there is the post! If this or what @outlander saids doesn't work please don't reconstruct until you are rested and up to it. I don't want to stress you. I really do appreciate your efforts very much and would "love" to read your thoughts on this - but I can wait a day or two until you are up to it again. I so appreciate you and everyone for being there. Sending much love ❤️ xx

Hi @outlander the pic finally came through. I looked, but nothing there. I experimented and started a new post but didnt post. Then I checked again. This time the drafts section came up. But only the one I just did, no earlier ones. From your screen shot it looks like it holds more than just the last post. So maybe my other one was just timed out. Im watching now to see how long the draft is held for.

Yeah i havent discarded those ones yet. Most of them are inly like one sentence saves lol. Some of mine go back a few months so i dont think it times out..

Yeah thanks @outlander. I dont have any older ones in there at all. In fact I dont recall ever noticing that My Drafts section before. Anyway, all good.

I'm just trying to figure out what @Former-Member suggested. Ie going back and hitting reply to the post I originally (tried) to post to. I dont have those options you mentioned there Enigma. And yet I can see a blue coloured rectangle above this posting box which says "Autosaved at 09.26 PM". But I dont have anything else you mentioned.

So it looks like my long post is gone. Feeling very discouraged.

Maybe talk to the mods it might be something in the system like a glitch or a setting at their end..
