@TAB you don’t use H202 straight. You dilute it 1:3 with warm water. Boil the water first and let it cool. Like a very warm bath temp.

Set up the bathroom.
Make the solution in a sterile container. Put a wad of cotton wool or a sterilised cloth in the container.

Gently immobilising your cat by wrapping him securely, like a sausage roll, in a clean old towel.

You bath the wound area using a wad of cotton wool or a sterilised cloth. Trickling the solution over the wound area until all the dried blood and debris comes away.

Keep bathing the area until the abscess erupts.

Try not to vomit.

The wound will run for a while.
Do not let Goose out of the bathroom.

As for me, it’s been a stressful morning- more property manager lies about non payment of rent and now other issues to deal with- but I’m taking care of myself by knitting and I’m planning on doing some diamond art work later today. My housemate is due home from hospital soon after 2 days due to surgery on her arm and I’m looking forward to having her home again. Tonight is planned out with me watching the AFL on TV - Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood- so hopefully my lions can score a win at the Gabba. I’m also thinking of looking into some free mental health training courses in the next few days to help me get back into studying again - I’ve contacted a tafe to restart my mental health qualification in July with positive feedback so far on my application.
