@Judi9877 Know what you mean …re thinking everyone else’ s mental health is more worthy’s of attention than my own. But it was true… even if I was only 10 when first visited the psych ward. I don’t know how it is that I have survived so long. I spent a lot of time on Sane a few years back. Really needed it. Muchos Grazias.

@Glisten I love your attitude and sense of humour. This scheduling of nervous breakdowns! Is my style too…. Squeezing them in between all the other stuff.

Dear @saturnzoon
I'm just wondering -
Apologies if I'm out of line....
We are vulnerable here.
There is a free AI app called Gemini
Iv been asking the Ai Gemini
To do my budget. I put down how much money iv got
Then all bills
Then ask in my budget to put $20 per fortnight in the piggy bank.
Would you do this ? Could it help out ?
Sending you kindness for a lovely 🌹

Good morning and good afternoon, @Appleblossom
Thank you for the mention 😁
I thought I would send a quick message while my eyes remain open.
I knew my mind and body would be exhausted and need to sleep to start the healing process all over again.
I hope everyone is okay and doing their best to get through the day.
I will end this message with gratitude and let you all know that I am grateful for each of you. Remember, be kind to yourselves.
P xo

and all forumites here this Friday afternoon including those I’ve forgotten.
Thanks for the tag @Appleblossom and everyone who has replied to my post- very much appreciated! It’s so nice to know that people still care about me despite me not being around much lately due to my mental health issues.
@Shaz51 I hope you are having okay with the weather in Queensland. Sending positive thoughts to you and other forum members in Queensland.
Yesterday I called the local mental health triage team who was useless in that they said they had 20 more people to call and didn’t want to speak to my housemate because of this. They also told me I was taking my meds properly and to get my GP to prescribe sleeping tablets as that was my issue according to them which wasn’t true. Also, I had to be case managed to get into PARCS and as I wasn’t in a crisis, that wasn’t going to happen- new to me as this had never been the case at my old mental health service and PARCS had always worked for me in the past. My housemate called them today and got a totally different response as they listened to her and said they’d call later to discuss things further. This was all before emergency services came to my house as my housemate had a mental health issue and she’s now at the local hospital getting sorted out including getting her arm issue - a chronic condition that has been on for the past 3 months which has resulted in 2 bouts of sepsis in the past month requiring hospitalisation along with issues involving her diabetes. I just feel so forgotten about and unimportant as besides my housemate, no one is asking how I’m going and what I’m thinking or feeling. My sister hasn’t called me in over a month after I made a comment about notifying her manager about her poor treatment towards customers in her workplace during the heatwave that Victoria has been having - apparently she can turn the aircon off if she wants to get rid of annoying customers which I think is cruel. Don’t even get me started on what she thinks of homeless people - again, very cruel - but I’m not allowed to make any comments as she sees me as being below her since I don’t work. Anyway, I’m trying to deal with things as best I can despite having constant issues with poor sleep and other issues. I’ve got no other friends to call and I feel so alone, with the forum community being so valuable to me and very helpful and supportive to me. I’ve been knitting and working on a cross stitch project to pass the days and watching some tv shows on some streaming services so I’m trying to be productive. I’m not studying right now as I can’t really focus on academic work so I’m hoping to get back into that in July.
Thanks for reading this post.
Take care!

Oh I forgot - yes
Sorry @Judi9877
I'm sorry things are tough sweetheart. We are here for you.
Your messages are very nice to read in the hobbies you do. The knitting !!
In the past 3 months I have done practically no hobbies. I am usually hand sewing or making a quilt but iv been too ill with waiting for this damn gall bladder to come out.
I think @Jacques has had same problem but the difference with him and me is that he goes to the gym whereas I don't.
I get big problems with having anaesthetic in an operation and am usually quite ill for up to 6 months after the operation.
@Judi9877 @ It sounds like you have way too much on your plate right now, and
It's brave of you to reach out and share this.
I've been thinking a lot lately about the work of Dr. James Doty and Terry Real, and their writings/audibles/iTunes seem particularly relevant in situations like this
The neurologist Dr James Doty writes about his work on compassion and the neuroscience of kindness. He emphasizes the importance of self-compassion. It's so easy to be hard on ourselves, especially when we're struggling, but true resilience comes from treating ourselves with the same kindness and understanding we would offer a dear friend.
He talks about how even small acts of self-compassion, like taking a few deep breaths or acknowledging your pain
without judgment, can make a real difference
Terry Real, a couples therapist, talks a lot about the importance of connection and the damaging effects of disconnection. He emphasizes how crucial it is to reach out for support when we're struggling.
. Real suggests that reaching out, sharing our vulnerability, and allowing others to support us is a crucial step toward healing.
Wow how can you change this instead of feeling lonely ,?
If you see your GP could things change ?
May I also just tap @Former-Member , it sounds like you need to give yourself permission to not be perfect, to acknowledge the weight of everything you're carrying,
