Mostly sad and reflective. @Ant7 I had a discussion about a church choir and last christmas eve. I have not found one liners helpful, but need to believe that a door WILL open after one has closed.

It is simple and effective and you have followed through on it for a long time @Bimby2
I did something similar in that choir, but verbally. The impulse to say it spontaneousl rose up in me as we were often there on a Sunday Morning. Just saying good morning and not going into things was fine and sometimes that was all the other people wanted as EVERYBODY has mental health issues AKA as stuff going on.
Time to feed cats and do dinner.
