Good Morning Everyone

I had to wait a little to 'get on' this morning, my wireless modem needed charging and honestly if you breath on it while it's plugged in it disconnects 🙂

The weather changed quiet suddenly through the night here, it was the first night in ages that I didn't have to shut the windows and I actually got to wear my short sleeved and shorts Snoopy PJ's with no dressing gown, and even tossed off 2 of the 3 blankets when in bed. But through the night I noticed a really cool breeze flowing from the window above my head and both the extra blankets had to be pulled back up! . . and I don't think it's warmed up much since then! Though I've still only got the summer PJs and summer dressing gown on, so it's not cold - just like there's some ice in the wind? Must be getting a wind from your place Cheerbear 😄

Re: Good Morning!

Nice that you will be seeing your daughter @frog but sorry that you are struggling. Anything in particular that is making you feel this way?

I'm okay - ups and downs. Hoping to find more of the ups.

Packing up my life and leaving my little house and lovely garden @soul My new place is very tiny and I'm having an emotional time getting rid of stuff - lots of memories. I worry about not having done enough and having to go through another big round of this when we get there because so little space. Trying to focus on the fact that my son will be with me and the courtyard means my dogs will too! I struggle with change and this is a big one. Hope you are even-to-up today and feel peaceful at the end of it even if there are some downs.

Re: Good Morning!

I remember the sadness of my home being sold after my divorce. I was living overseas at the time but it had been my home for many years and the only home my kids had known. One day I asked my daughter if she missed it and she wisely said "A home is not just the house, it's the people in it."

So anywhere that you are with your son and dogs will be your home @frog. Try to make it 'your" place with personal touches.

Re: Good Morning!

Morning forumnites! I've stated away from the forum a bit this morning. Some days it see to rake over my day; mostly in a good way though. I'm a little sad & teary today, and I never really know the reasons why I am like this. This just seems to be the cycling of my depression over the last yeas or so, which has been particularly bad. It's so frustrating as I am trying to do things to get better, like the walking @soul, but I just can't seem to get on top of this. I'm not medicated, mostly by choice, although I have tried over a half a dozen different drugs. So I just have to battle on, but it's wearing me down. Sorry, I don't mean to bring any one else down, as I know this thread tries to maintain some positivity, I just wanted to explain why I've hit another low point. I know many of you are struggling with similar feelings.

Re: Good Morning!

Thanks for the reminder @soul Maybe I'm clinging to my stuff because it's such a big change and I'm feeling insecure. I've been here for 19 years and my kids also have known nowhere else. Every time I look out the window I feel sad. On the other hand, my relationships with both kids are pretty good, and that's a really big deal.
