Re: Good Morning!

re prev posts , I had a 'run in ' with jobsearch people recently ..negative comments, acccusing tones re sick certs, then after getting cut off centrelink due to too much work(which I found myself) I rang them saying I wasnt coming to an appointment as I was no longer required to. So they rang me after , presumably as they get paid for contacting 'customers' I told the person a few home truths ie you hadnt helped me at all etc, they bit, it escalated, me saying the truth that they get way more govt money than I did, got high handed angry reply ;we are a private company!! as tho that somehow made their actions more, unquestionable .. I just asked, well where do you think your money comes from and hung up .

Needless to say the review form was asked to fill out about them wasnt good. It was the truth though. @Former-Member

Re: Good Morning!

Good morning to all of the people feeling all kinds of feels (or no kinds of feels) today.

To the people who are missing their Dad, the ones who want things to be different between them and their Dad, the men who wish they were Dad, the people who have been hurt by their Dad, and the people who have had to step up in the place of a Dad who didn't.

I am finding this one tough today, and I've noticed there are lots of others who are too. I can imagine there are many more out there who are hurting quietly.

I hope that everyone will be able to have a moment of appreciating themselves, where they've come from and who they are, today.

💙

Re: Good Morning!

@Tab7,I also had shit from the girl at the Disability Provider Office on Friday. She wanted to ring employees for me that I had previously contacted.I went for a interview at Cole's several months back and she rang them to see how my interview went when I asked her not to.I am ashamed of my illness and long term unemployment and didn't want them knowing I was with a disability provider.I have still got my pride, what's left of it.
Where I live I have trouble finding four jobs a month,it went to six jobs required the following month. On Friday ,a month later it went to 10.I could not do the normal requirement of 20.Got less than a week to go I have two jobs. That's why I'm stressed as well. The sad fact is the reason she rang Coles and why she's willing to ring employees is not for me.Its for her own benefit, her Key Performance Indicators. As well as seeing that report,I had that as well.I also lost the appointment time and on the mygov it said a different time so I got there at a different time to a SMS saying the payments have been suspended. That stressed me.Having no control over your life is a slow death.

Re: Good Morning!

yes, re kpis and they do more harm than good re going behind your back to employers, in my case ones I found myself, jobsearch then tries to jump in over top and hassle employer for their own financial benefit

yes, its sad, and yes they have got me cut off before, so had to sort that out. They never found me work, and positively recoiled at my queries re them contributing to extra training or safety equipment like workboots @Former-Member
