@CheerBear when I support others in these forums it actually benefits me immensely. So I tend to keep my own stories out of it. I'm like that too apparently even in the group therapy I doing I don't fully share or open up enough about what is happening with me.
I've been doing DBT group therapy for 7months and unfortunately how to put it aside for now because I'm not getting better. I'm not dealing with my triggers and other issues. I need psychotherapy from my local community mh services, and they can't communicate with the DBT services. So damn complicated. But I'm better than 2weeks ago, when I want in a good place at all. I just now have a lot of physical pain to deal with.
I also tend to ramble a lot when I'm getting better hence another reason I don't post a lot. I'm sure I would bore everyone to tears 😭.

Re: Good Morning!
@Sans911 - I can understand how sometimes opening up isn't helpful for someone to do. One of the very cool things about being here is that I think we're free to decide how much we want to share and whether we want to share much of anything.
Sounds like you're getting stuck within the system a bit too, which unfortunately seems to happen waaaaaay too often. It sucks. As if people who are in the system/s in the first place aren't finding it tough enough.
As for sharing on here, I don't know if worrying about 'boring' people is something you need to worry about. In saying that, I ramble often too and feel frustrated at myself sometimes for seemingly going over the same stuff a lot. I have a sneaking suspicion this is another not so uncommon feeling for many here. I'd happily listen to any ramble of yours if you'd like to share, but also respect that you might not want to too.
Hope the pain eases and there's a good moment in today for you.

Re: Good Morning!
@CheerBear Stuck within the system? Oh boy, don't I know it. I was asked last week when I had a new mh assessment to determine my needs at this time what I thought of the mh services. I was hesitant to be honest, but I then went ahead and said that I was dissapointed in what was provided and that my own expectations of what I thought should happen, fell far short. It doesn't help that I work as a health professional so I know what to expect most of the time. But I'm really dissapointed in mh nurses, and the lack of compassion & empathy from them as an inpatient. And don't get me started about how other other health professionals treat me now I ha MI.
I don't have issues of sharing on here per se. It's more I judge myself harshly, like thinking that my problems aren't important as others, I ramble and bore others, I'll say the wrong things and upset someone, stuff like that. I'm such an overthinker.
Thanks so much @CheerBear for letting me have a little ramble. I remember in my early days on this forum how much your words comforted me in my dark moments. You're a treasure.

Re: Good Morning!
I come from the other side in a way too @Sans911, and while it is helpful sometimes, it also sucks badly to experience first hand what you know should (or shouldn't) happen. The too-often lack of compassion and empathy is hard to swallow. I want to believe it is a lack of resources (though that doesn't make it better), but fear there can also be a culture of it around places too. Totally hearing you here.
I think there might be a whole crew of overthinkers here as well, and don't think you're alone here either. Self-doubt and self-criticism seem to come often with it all. For what it is worth, I really like seeing you and your fluffy, amazingly beautiful cat around the forum, and enjoy catching up with you when I do.
I'm about to have a mini-vent about a lack of resources and then put on my 'I'm totally ok now' hat on for the littles.
Thanks for sharing Sans. Hope your afternoon is ok

Re: Good Morning!
@CheerBear thanks for your words. All very true and relevant.
That beautiful fluffy cat isn't mine, although I so wish he was. That's Charlie, a rescue cat who was at a shelter I volunteered at when I lived in London. How anyone could give him up I don't get it. But I couldn't take him, but now he's always with me. I did recently get a shelter cat, who's a total sweet, sloth of a cat. My house mate and I 'share' with his care.

@Phoenix_Rising - do I get worms today? Still waiting for my baby goat from yesterday. You promised - don't back out now. I'll be watching the yoga thread to collect.

Good morning @soul. Do you get worms today? Well you won't get them from the baby goat I just delivered to you - all my baby goats are healthy and worm-free.
