Got dressed, then curled up back in bed waiting for WH to put the (rocket) dog away and head off in his jog .... now I am off to the coffee shop .... and chia and oatmeal porridge with almond milk and rhubarb .... 😊
And coffee .... ❣️

Hi Niqua
Yes - I am glad to be over the "all Australia has it" bug - it could have been worse - I am glad I have had it and got over it so easily
I am puzzled about your teeth - if dentures aren't the answer I don't know what is. Yes - bone does deteriorate when your teeth are being lost - and you can't chew as well - my partial dentures are wearing down too - and they have been relined once and will need that again. It is a problem
One thing I had suggested was to get a dental implant but the possibility is that the bone is too delicate at that point - I think it's important to hang onto our teeth as long as we can but I don't understand your dentist. I mean - I haven't heard about the Smile Plan - I guess I am lucky with my dentist and that I can pay the difference between my dentist bill and what my insurance pays - but I am holding onto the few teeth I have left for as long as possible.
Dentures are not as good as our real teeth - and I guess now that playing around in the bath when I was a kid and falling and damaging my front teeth was not really part of the dental care plan - they were bound to break off eventually - maybe that's what your dentist means about your teeth not being strong.
It's a puzzle - but yes - they are expensive - I am wondering if the Smile Plan covers your denture if and when you need your teeth replaced - but the hint is to ask for minor imperfections - they look very natural -
But what they say about teeth is true - they are trouble when they grow in - trouble to keep and trouble when they are lost but I know how much more confident I am with my upper partial - I smile more and with that I generally feel better talking to people. I tend to smile before I speak. It really makes a difference to my life
I'm so glad that having two bad teeth out has been helpful and I hope the bone heals well - I guess this special xray - I know what you mean - my daughter had this done when she needed braces and to get her wisdom teeth out -
I wish you all the best with that but the question to ask your dentist is that without back teeth how can you chew your food properly?
I will be so interested to hear what happens

Enjoy your brekkie @Faith-and-Hope - I hope you get a good spell of peace and quiet with your puzzle and you will need that umbrella - I have heard most of southern Australia is in for a damp day
Oh yes - it's
And I have a busy day today - already starting well with my Companion Cat wanting to go out and then come in because of course - it's cold and wet here just as it is in so many other places
I had my ideal breakfast - I have to share this - I made cookies again yesterday - this time I put the white chocolate chips into the cookie dough - with a good serve of muesli - and they are PERFECT - I wonder if I will ever get the measurements right again - the white choc chips are crisp - and the cookies are fantastic
I wonder if I can find any fantastic white choc chip cookies on line because I don't follow recipes - I make things up as I go - gotta remember this one though
So I might just bring some of those cookies in to a feast sometime
Have the best Monday you can Faith and still sending faith and hope and prayers - as always

Hi @Faith-and-Hope@Former-Member@soul@Former-Member@Maggie
This is the jet-setting Dec charging through Tullarmarine with a plate of white cookies - ah - they taste better than they look - wanting to join all of you in WA for a late brekkie
Aw - that was easier said than done. Still - my intention is a good one
Gee - looking around - WA is as damp as Melbourne this morning (blink)
