Hi GeekChick
I'm so sorry to hear that you have been doing it tough.I truly hope that things start to feel a bit easier.
Have you thought about getting some family support to make it a bit easier for everyone including yourself to cope with varying moods and dynamics?
I hope you find the support you need here on the forums.
Take Care

Hi again @GeekChick
Sorry, badly worded on my part, I mean support for the family. If you have a counsellor/worker/therapist, perhaps they could recommend an organistion to link you and the family in with.

Hello @GeekChick
That sounded like a really tough night for you, I am sorry that you were not only having a hard time with your emotions but also having to worry about how your family copes with that, it seems like a lot to be dealing with and worrying about right now. How are you going today?

Thanks for the reply. I'm at work but honestly that's about it. Not really interacting with anyone, just trying to keep my focus on something other than how I'm feeling.
Home is hard. The boys are trying to be positive but I can see that it's just an act. I don't have my psych here cos I've just moved states and we've had a really tough time settling in. Honestly, I don't think any of us are coping.

Hello @GeekChick
It seems like at work you are trying to keep busy by distracting yourself from your feelings but once you get home it will be harder, I guess in one way it is helpful that your boys are trying to be positive but it does really seem like the lack of support is a big issue as you don't have your psych there. It also seems that there has been a big transition from moving and finding it hard to setlle which wouldn't be helping.
Does your psych do Skype chats at all? Sometimes they will do that for you if you are far away, otherwise it might be helpful to talk to someone else. Are you able to see a GP this week or look up a psychologist in your area so you can get some support, even a counsellor? It might just help you to talk through things in more detail so you don't feel as alone in this, or if that is too much perhaps just keep reaching out on here if you can ![]()
