Hi @soul @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope
Meeting with the school went well this morning. Head of primary was really understanding and apologised on behalf of the school. S2 now pretty much has a green card to leave the room if he needs to go to a 'safe space' either chappy or learning support room when chappy is not available.
Have also now spoken with my darling and the first treatment went well, the dr was happy with how she responded during treatment. Other than being dizzy and unable to focus she is managing ok at the moment. Restricted to bed rest today hoping to get out for a walk tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing her in a couple of hours.
Thankyou all for your thoughts.

Little man was happy to be at school knowing I was there to sort things out and support him. He is quite embarrassed about his meltdown. Happy to know there is a plan for him to escape in future if he needs to. It will be interesting to see if the teacher responds directly to me about my concerns. Either way all is looking good at school.

S2 had a really good day at school today. Had a long chat with chappy which he was happy about. Think he just needs to heard and have someone outside of family to tell how much life sux and how much he is hurting at the moment. I can relate to that.
That is a big positive for today 😊

I know that situation was really stressing you out @Determined. It was worrying you all weekend. Great that it's been dealt with now and S2 is happier which in turn makes you happier.
How did your visit to the hospital go?

Visit to the hospital was ok @soul, I slept for part of it. It was nice to just lie on the bed and hold each other. Good to have a private room and some privacy.
She was a little confused at one point which concerns me but thinking positive and putting it down to being tired from a big day. Defiantly worth the drive. Was really hard to leave tonight though. Feeling sad at the moment. Hoping a sleep will help.
