The Weekly Friday Feast

The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

Chat soon 🙂

@Jacques,

Your comment back there with the statistics is brilliant, I love so much how you have the stats like that.

I've missed you mate, and sorry I know it's my fault, I know you understand though with my new job that I am time poor.

As a peer worker, I feel so lucky and priviledged to spend time with guys and girls who are just like all of us.

@Jacques

Mate you are such a nice person, you have a heart of gold, my thoughts for you are that you can see for yourself what everyone on the forum sees.

I know you are hard on yourself, I understand why. You wish you could just get over it but at the moment you cant.

You know what though, I know you can, because a heart as big as yours, you will make it mate.

And Hi @Bill16 I have read some of your posts, we havn't met, I'm Matt a bit of a joker at times and @NikNik shakes her head at me, but it's not her fault she's a manly supporter 😉

I think I read (and sorry if I'm wrong) you're not driving at the moment? I really enjoyed yours and @Jacques convo about cars.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thanks @WombatBoots

My son has just come back from his girlfriend's place after his trip up north .. so a few nights away and thank god I can take a back seat.

I have had one thought thought .. a positive thing his psychiatrist said .. a bit about "where we are going to as a family"... sometimes there is so much attention given by causcasians to the need for adolescents to separate but it is really a relative thing .. separate a bit but maintian the links ... it was nice to think that I can plan as his mother and that does not mean I am a bad over-involved clinging mum .. and then his girlfriend started planning with me .. and so I think we are growing a sense of family that suits the 3 of us. So I am feeling optimistic atm.
