The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

@Phoenix_Rising, swimming in the Trevi fountain sounds lovely!

Oh no! Poor @Former-Member! I'm sure, no matter what, all allegations against her are false - she's too lovely for gaol!

Might need to call @NikNik to the rescue, as I can't seem to find the policy around moderators being imprisoned in the SANE manual!

@Former-Member I was worried about @Former-Member too but happily it seems she has just appeared. What do you think of this restaurant she has picked out? I know you said you are scared of heights but like the view at the same time. It looks kind of cool...but I'm not sure if my tummy would be churning as much as that water...which might make eating tricky.

The only time I was on a boat was for 2 hours while Whale Watching - and I became very ill and couldn't stomach anything. Not sure how a cave would go though! It's worth a try, and if it turns out to not go to plan. We always have our emergency floaties.

Wow, @Former-Member, what a restaurant you have found for us! Love it, wish I could go there.

Well, it seems as though Italy has taken over our travel plans and put Patagonia and Scotland on hold for another time. And speaking of time, I need to log off now for a rest from the frantic pace of the forum tonight!

Yikes - we may have to move to another destination. 39 degree maximums are predicted md week in Florence. Can anyone suggest somewhere cooler but not too cold?
