The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

I have been to the Trevi fountain when the workers have been collecting the coins - at least I think they were workers. If you throw a coin in the fountain, it means that you will return there some day.

Oh I'm definitely up for a swim in the fountain @Former-Member! I'm wearing a hard hat for safety though because I'm still a bit worried about all those coins being thrown around.

@Phoenix_Rising ahah!! I mean.. it's better than tomatoes, or is it? We can just imagine we did a performance or something and somehow deserved the money being thrown at us.. People just forgot the flowers. But helmets do sound like a good idea. Maybe safety glasses as well.

Of course I'll bail you out @Phoenix_Rising...no turtle gets left behind! And you know I have more than enough bags to fit those floaties in and I always have them on me in case of emergency They would look super cool in the trevi fountain and I also thought we could use them to float around on the Amalfi Coast...just because it is super beautiful!!

I have a canvas print of a photo I took on the Island of Burano in my dining room. I pretend I am there. Had the best seafood risotto for lunch back a fair few years now.
