The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

Hello all - just got back from picking up my guinea pig from surgery.. he got the lump removed, and just need to keep an eye on him to make sure he keeps eating and is taking his medications. Such a big risk with guinea pigs post surgery due to the anesthetic. I haven't stopped crying for the last couple of days.

@Former-Member I think maybe it was at last week's FF that I learnt about the term PUI. I'm not sure that this just applies to alcohol. I am extremely concerned that you are moderating while under the influence of excessive sugar.

It is great to see you here at Friday Feast. I am so glad your guinea pig came through the surgery ok. It sounds like the next few days will be difficult as you focus on making sure he eats and takes his medication. I know how awful it can be having a sick pet. I super hope your little one will be ok.

I'm okay tonight. Had a job interview today that went well and now I'm eating mochi with red wine and a kitten on my lap. 😊❤️🐱

Just so heartbreaking to have to sit back and watch my little one - knowing that I can't actually do anyhing to help but to provide the food and water and to give the medication. Wish this wasnt happening 😞 Been so overwhelmed as of lately and his sudden illness has just been the overflowing factor for me.

Just was to sleep for eternity - I am so exhausted
