The Weekly Friday Feast

NikNikSenior Contributor

The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

Chat soon 🙂

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Ice cream and milo smooshed together is great! Adding tiny teddies is even better 😄

@Shaz51 - that was a very fun party 🙂

Ferrero Rocher in icecream sounds amazing @Queenie. Those things have everything ice cream needs all in one little ball! I have to try that one.

Has anyone visited a kitkat making store place thing? We did it once as a super special treat and it was so SO fun! Same kind of idea as cold rock by the sound of it @Queenie.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Cold rock takes ice cream of just about any flavour (I think there is 30+ flavours to choose from) and smooshes into it just about any kind of yumminess you can imagine. Tim tams, Nutella, gummy bears, lollies, chocolate, fruit.... yum yum in my tum tum is the result @CheerBear

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

That is so amazing you both have the same birthday @Shaz51 both such caring people 🙂

Oooh tiny teddies is an excellent idea @CheerBear I will have to try that and the Kit Kat shop, they are always so busy!

Hello @Former-Member Do you want some ice cream? What is your favourite flavour? There is also the option of layers of nutella, hot fudge / tiny teddies and milo smooshed through it 🙂

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Good evening @Queenie @Shaz51 @eth @Former-Member @CheerBear @Pepsimax @Former-Member,

I super love all the food that everyone bought tonight. Pasta with garlic bread and salad to start with, and then I think I will have chocolate icecream with nutella and sprinkles - yum!

Here in Sydney I am being super healthy after my ridiculously huge all-you-can-eat adventure of last night. Tonight I am having a bowl of corn. Yay for yellow vegetables - so much nicer than any of those pesky green ones.

Oh and the highlight of my week was absolutely definitely my super awesome birthday party here in Forum Land.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Nothing wrong with corn @Phoenix_Rising. I have it with tacos which some people think is weird, but it is yum!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I had a look and there's one not tooooo far away from me @Queenie. I might have to take a drive and check it out!

It's so worth it though @Former-Member 😄 You place your order and then they send a text when it is ready (and they hold them for something like three days!).
