The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

It is kind of nice to have these virtual gatherings as a regular thing.

@NikNik some of those old recipes are a lot trickier than modern ones. I think @PeppiPatty was wanting a bit of time out from the forum as she said she going into therapy. I have missed her too.

Hi @Mazarita .. friends, beach walk and parallel computer activities sounds companionable .. pleasant.

Son had to sit next to me at the piano tonight. Usually he sings with his own copy of music. I am getting over the computer allergy .. but thought about it as we were reading through the Cindarella score in pdf format. at one stage it was oppostional as dad on computer keyboard and me on piano .. but hey damn it I used to like being on computers so now I am getting best of both worlds.

We just had chicken, veg and Bush spices with mountain pepper .. new spice .. and watched Community.

hi @Appleblossom, i am ok, i am worried about Karen tonight, i think she is doing it really tough tonight, she has been real hard on herself over the report.

I just looked on your thread and I am worried about @hiddenite too.

I was so glad she came last Friday Feast. I think that took a lot and I miss her here tonight. Its late I can understand you are tired. It has been a really good journey for to come to this forum. Sleep well. I will be around for a little while and keep a look out for Karen. at your gorgeous fire.

Oh I don't have that option I'm on my phone oh well I'm just going to have desert chocolate mouse instead. Oh @NikNik I love prawns that's what they are???
For the weekend I have about a pile of washing from my lounge room to Mars worth to fold no joke I have never seen so much washing in my life!!!! I may take the kids to a play centre tomorrow and tackle it Sunday I've also got to take a blown kettle back to Kmart and wash texta of my walls from miss 2 she's feral 🙂
What about everyone else? Anything on? It's actually suppose to be a little warner here this weekend so hoping to catch at least a ray of sunshine (Melbourne)
Shame that we don't have a app for sane forums how does everyone keep up I tend to get confused.

Not just prawns @Bec1985, prawns in JELLY lol. Gross.

The worst chore in the world is folding. I now hold off on doing the folding until a good TV show I like is on and I can fold and watch TV at the same time.. kind of trick myself into thinking I'm enjoying it.

This weekend I'm off to coach netball - I coach a 14 yrs team. Last game before semis 🙂

What do you use to wash texta of walls!? I haven't come across that disaster yet!
