The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi all...

My state of mind: burst into tears in middle of shopping mall - partner said lets get home - I didn't want people to see me crying & couldn't force myself to stop & really wanted to get his mum's gift - so had to go into Myers bathroom & silently cry for 10 minutes before I could face the task of buying my 'mother in law' gifts for her birthday on 27th - also needed to get stickers etc to make card, as she really appreciates my homemade cards. Partner offered to buy me xmas gift - there are things I want & NEED, but I didn't want anything today... said I wanted to be "anti xmas"... Partner is concerned his family has got us gifts & we haven't got them gifts - it's just too much stress... Haven't got xmas food yet or food for when shops will be closed... We did acquire vegan non-alcoholic beer - unfortunately the non-alcoholic wine wasn't vegan - shop assistant asked as if we were aware it did not have alcohol - we were like yes that is the point... perhaps they should be warning people that their beverages contain alcohol instead...

We are going to have salad wraps with chickpeas for dinner, but it feels like we just got home - I think we got home about 7pm - nearly 8:30 - exhausted... been trying to feed the fader kitten - doesn't seem to be fighting tonight...

for christmas day we are having breakfast with our daughter

lunch with my MIL and SIL --my father in law passed away this year , so i think it will be hard for the family on sunday xx

and then afternoon tea with my mum

busy, hope hubby will be ok xx
