The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

Soanakopita at our house tonight .... we had it last night too, but I am feeling tired and there's tonnes of this stuff in the freezer so .... sigh .... Spanakopita again !!

What a shame .... lol ..... I actually love them, and *bonus* don't have to do anything but heat them up ... 😋

Great to see you all here tonight too. I don't think I've shared Friday feast with you TAB or Queenie - I've seen you both around, and posted responses in some threads you also commented in - but it's nice to finally "have a meal together"

May I ask, how you both stumbled across the forums?

@Faith-and-Hope - your dinner looks/sounds amazing. Any big weekend plans?

Hi everyone, i don't think i can stay, just wanted to pop in and say hi to all, i am so tired and exhausted, i have struggled to sleep for a few weeks and can't concentrate, i feel like a zombie, anyway i thought i would bring some apple crumble since it is really cold where i am

As I had to be rolled out of hospital (think Violet from Charlie and the chocolate factory, Ronald Dahl ) I have had a cup of soup and crumpet to moderate a little. Have looked up some vegetable curries today I'm keen to cook so maybe that's next weeks Friday feast.
