Desiderata used to be attached to the front of my fridge with magnets when my sons were growing up.

They used to laugh about it.

I had other quotes.

I wish that the people who need to read it and learn from it would.

Though I have a feeling that is why it was written in the first place as there was then so long ago and still is now such a need for change.
