@WombatBoots, I've not mentioned what my job is. I work in medical research. It's a tough thing. I have lost most of my friends from before, and as a result I am quite scared of telling people what I do. I'm sorry, I can't go into more detail. I am quite honestly scared of what you will all think of me. And I don't want to lost more friends.

I'm shamefully undomestic in general and rarely cook. Lucky I live with someone who doesn't mind doing the cooking for both of us. I appreciate the pleasure others find in cooking and hope to get better with it. Home made pizza is the best. 🙂

oh @Crazy_Bug_Lady that is terrible that you feel so intimidated, and you have lost friends over your job, that is not fair, it is your livelyhood, you previous friends should be ashamed of themselves.

i am sure you do a wonderful job, whatever it is, and all medical research should be highly reguarded, you are helping save lives, and make peopel more comfortable. you should take comfort in the fact you save lives.

i for one don't care what you do, you will always be my friend

Yum .. it aint much fun if there is nobody there to share it. We love pizza at my place. I worked in lots of takeout places, that I ended up making healthier versions a theme of my home cooking.

It sounds like your job is demanding and interesting. Congrats. I did a few years of earth science but could not imagine myself actually working in the field.
