The Weekly Friday Feast

maybe you are right @Shaz51, it has just ruined my life, all of my problems now stem from that event. i have spent the past 15 years in a state of fear from that one event. so hard to move past it. i have lost my 20's and 30's to it. so sad.

So sorry everyone, its been such a busy night and I didnt get to spend as much time in here as I would of liked too

@Former-Member happy belated birthday The pizza and cake sounds amazing! Wow good on you with yoga and running! It sounds like you are trying to do things for yourself which is great to hear. Sorry to hear you have been feeling so anxious. I hope you can get some sleep tonight. Is there anything that helps with calming your anxiety that might help you before you go to bed?

Is it true that 4 of us have Easter birthdays. @Former-Member's lil boy, @Former-Member @Former-Member and I? Anyone else?

I survived mine by planning to be involved in a great event. It was my birthday present to myself. That my son got involved was the icing on the cake and came later. Sorry I am late. Just came home from a brilliant concert, with some international level soloists and a very groovy viol da gamba player.

Something in me is getting tougher. My birthday is about my life, and I am not giving others the power to wreck it for me. My family rarely did the right thing by me re birthdays. Its not presents I am giving myself. I have got enough stuff. it is events. I only mentioned it was my birthday today when someone else was talking about their birthday.

I hope everyone manages to get feel some positives throughout the Easter break. The thing that did it for me and made it my favourite liturgical season, is that the music for it can be utterly fabulous.

Sorry I'm so late in & missed everything.

sorry @Former-Member you didnt say anything wrong at all! I think im just feeling a bit low tonight. Seems so many people on here end up being a bit isolated/stuck at these times somehow. At least we can be together here and understand each other 🙂
