The Weekly Friday Feast

Thank goodness it's Friday (or TGIF as some say!)

We thought we would start a thread where we could come together every Friday and "share a meal" and debrief about our week.

To participate, there are 2 requirements -

1) Bring a (virtual) plate of food

2) Bring a topic of discussion

So pull up a virtual chair, post a picture or description of what (virtual) dish you're bringing along and say hi and let us know how your week was.

Looking forward to seeing you at our first Friday Feast!

Just had my tuna sandwich, added some pickled dill cucumber, more like a later evening snack than a dinner, yummo. Nightie night, @Shaz51. Hope you have a lovely sleep in tomorrow, @CherryBomb. I'm still around for a while if anyone else is still up and in the mood for posting here.

Hello hello! Who's home and wiling to share dinner tonight? I do believe that this is my FIRST Friday feast. I really wanted to share a picture of dinner but I was so STARVING tonight that I couldn't even wait for the butter chicken my partner is cooking. I spread some avocado and feta on some rice crackers and snacked out. Very full and content now. Must try not to eat a second dinner!

What's on everyone else's plate tonight?

I have written quite a bit this week on Carer's Forum (Caring for MIL for 20 yrs) and Memories of More abuse. It has been a hectic, emotional, tiring, mentally draining and I am so glad I have found this forum!! The amount of support I have received over the past week is amazing.

I'm pretty sure I was on when you posted for the first time @BlueBay. I'm glad too that you found us and have become part of the community. I haven't been able to be around the Forums much this week but I'll do some reading tonight and catch up.
