One of the last really dopey thing I did before my dad died ....

was get excited about the sparkles in concrete ...

we used to walk a lot and I was probably over tired and it was dark and I was always desperately looking around for things to cheer us all up ... the look that was exchanged between my parents was one of the few times they seemed to agree ... it was a worried ... what is wrong with her.

I never was impressed by "Diamonds are a girls best friend" and can spontaneously go into lectures about the crystallography of Carbon.

I haven't had children, @WombatBoots, but at 53 I am still child enough in myself to make up for that. Seriously though, I am feeling and thinking more hopefully than I have for years. Cheers.
