Hello @outlander @Faith-and-Hope @Determined @Anony18 @soul
Just passing by and read back a couple of pages of this thread
you have some wonderful support here outlander with some very wise responses and caring words
sometimes when we are feeling very low we feel as though we cant express ourselves, that we are upsetting others, that if we dont get a response we have failed or upset someone.
part of this reaction is because this is a form of social media. this is not the same as face to face conversation where there are so many other factors as in body language, tone of voice that help us with the conversation flow.
I too am a very sensitive person and so easily think that I have upset people, without really knowing why, that i have not explained myself properly ( a huge issue for me at the moment in my therapy), that I am better off avoiding, hiding, isolating.
I do know though that I have every right to be on this forum as anyone else. I respect people's differences and try to help when I feel up to it. At other times, I stay away or hide on one thread when I am feeling very vulnerable.
What I am trying to say is that it is not that you have done something wrong, or not said enough it is that there are so many mixed emotions, struggles within each of us on here and we cannot possibly know that. We can and must look after ourselves, to avoid further slipping back.
We came on here for help and part of that help is knowing when to help ourselves. It is a learning curve. You are helping others, you are caring and compassionate. You give as much as you want and try not to compare yourself to others.
You are a beautiful person, so honest and I for one admire that in a person. The world needs more people like you outlander xxx
ps i do hope that i have not said anything to upset you. see I get you. xx
