Just curious if anyone has watched this on Netflix?
I'm interested in seeing it but wondering how triggering it could be?

Re: 13 reasons why

I just finished watching it and didn't realise this thread existed.

I thought it was interesting in its construction but when it comes to what I thought of the whole concept it gets a little confusing to express.

There were parts I thought were potentially triggering, parts I thought were well presented and parts I couldn't really work out what the direction the show was taking. In some ways, all that added to the intricacies of the storyline and episodes depicted from the various characters' points of view.

I'm stil not sure if her making the tapes was a good or bad thing, primarily because, thus far, it has had the worst effect on the one person who truly did seem to care about her.

Which is an interesting perspective the story presents in itself. Because the effect on those around someone who does this, can be the least talked about aspect of a tragedy such as this one.

For anyone who hasn't watched it - WARNING there are graphic images of SH in the last episode.
I enjoyed the show, but wish I hadn't have watched the last episode. I found it very very distressing.
