Mental problems

Mental problems

It's like I've got separation anxiety. (Separation from people and my environment) and depedant personality. Addictive personality. (Double questioning) unable to tell the difference between symptoms (wide varietyof stuff) and reality. - suffering as a consequence. -indecisiveness. -procrastinating. -thinking there is no help. -thinking people don't care. -depot medication is running low... -really struggling even at the best of times... -feeling very weak and vulnerable. -racing thoughts and so on... -feeling broken...

Re: Mental problems

Yea I'm hearing ya. There is definitely other ways to deal with it. And foresight is no good once medication has done it damages. And literally changed the patient for good.

I just want a quality of life! (Not sure what it looks like from here) have some ideas) although I kind of already got it...) -I rationally and logically think about how it could work... (Meaning this situation) -with all things considered and what I got to work with) and it feels like there's some really simple stuff missing! Stuff that would make th biggest of differences... and I'm finally identifying them and putting them in place for myself...

How to exit the system should be something that is plain and specified. They place emphasis on working and volunteering and education and things like that. But its very hazy and unclear when so many personal opinions come into the picture.

I heard today that other methods for patient's are showing great results without medication. And I think a lot of people know only too well that pharmaceuticals are problematic.

It's like they've got check lists of good things and bad things. Then they got risk assessments. And questions that are supposed to tell how I'm feeling which they base decisions on. It's a joke!

Put it this way. With correct support. And proper health care. And personal care. Meaning proper diet. And people inmy personal life who care. And exercise. And the results would amazing. But who really cares about that? A broken system?

The future of my life is at stake!

Re: Mental problems

"Tha was close" was the reply a nurse gave me as I handed her back. A graphed questioner sheet. Which was based on my feelings. And it's like the results determined if I needed medication or not. You know the ones that give you five options as answers?

5% of patients are happy

Re: Mental problems

I feel like a lunatic when I think about the way I carry on half of the time. And feel pretty stupid about it. Always winging. Moaning and groaning about nothing. And expecting it toobe magically fixed.

I have dreams. Visions. Ambitions and goals. That I'm working toward achieving. I have a good life. I have everything I need and want.

It's just that my mental health condition gets the better of me some days. And it's hard to deal with. And totally overwhelms me.

Hi @eudemonism I dont think you're a lunatic, things just sound overwhelming and as you've said the system is broken and hasnt helped you which makes it harder. I hate doing those sheets that im given too.
And also feel that my mental health finds any chance to try and jump back in full force when i hit a speed bump. It's hard!
hearing you,

Lol omg the same thing is happening to me on a regular basis and I have been through enough as it is and I have no ability to work it out properly on my own or tell if it's real and justified or not so I just roll with the scenario

Re: Mental problems

@Former-Member life has dealt me a rough hand of cards. And how I've dealt with it hasn't really helped. I'm talking bout stuff that was out of my Control happening from a very young age that I needed help to deal with. And it left me damaged in many ways. Life is tough cruel and unforgiving... That's one thing I've learned.. And it don't get any easier..

There Was not really the family support I needed and so on. School and social support ain't exactly equipped to deal with such things. I and society ain't real helpful with these sorts of things. And I was left to work it out on my own In a Mental way.
