I let some of the tears out.
Yes, it really sucks.
She will be fine after operation.
I have only limited energy.
But it seems life just keeps throwing :pile_of_poo:
She's my only child and we're very close.

@Spookytookims - maybe we need a thread for chats and continued conversations when posts cross or things happen and the flow of a conversation changes. It seems to happen quite a lot and I am still working out the best way to manage it. Like a pick up the conversation elsewhere place. Any thoughts?

I really feel for you @Former-Member - just when it seems things are getting too much, it's like you've been asked to dig even deeper to get through. Tears are good sometimes. Wish I could reach through the screen and give you a real hug or share a real cuppa with you ![]()
Edit to reply to your last post - that's really hard. Dealing with your own fears is one thing. Sitting with the person you love the most through theirs is sometimes even harder. Hang in there and be kind to yourself

@Former-Member Damn lucky you've been lifting those weights lately. Cos with all that (wrong device for my poop icon dammit) you are going to need all the strength you can get. She'll be ok, we just have to believe that, so allow yourself to get over the shock, it's only natural to be sobbing about something like that. Would be unnatural not to be.
*hugs* and a little bear to snuggle.
