Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?

Then self care @Former-Member Make yourself "busy" in the kichen or need to go to the loo... when those things start happening that make you feel uncomfortable. That's what self care is all about and it's important to start doing stuff like that whenever those things happen, cos they will happen from time to time, that's just life, unfortunately..

I've read some interesting research on the brain, it's fascinating that's for sure @Spookytookims There's always something to learn. I think I'm going through information overload though. I cant seem to read lately. I used to read alot. I even struggle reading on the forums lately.
Dr Amen from the US had alot of knowledge re the brain.
Hopefully I'll get back into reading again.
I hope your studying is going well😊

I hope you are relaxing in between your busy day @CheerBear 😊
I didn't get to do food shopping today. Haven't been anywhere.

You've done alot @Former-Member 😊
How's the tulip drawing going?

I've been working through my emotions 😮😣😦😨😕😠😢😡😀
I don't want to care about family, I don't want to think about family, yet family ties can be so strong. Grr! 😠😡😭
I honestly would rather not ever think.about them again.
It amazes me how complicated it all can be.
It would be great if it was easy to say to myself - move on, forget them and be happy. Hmm! Hasn't been that easy, unfortunately.
I guess, because they used to be a huge part of my life. I used to be the people pleaser, fix everyone's problems the babysitter, cleaner, fixer upper of their problems.
I guess that's why it's difficult to move on. Hurts can take a long time to get over.
They continue to ignore the traumas and abuse I've been through and their petty problems are exactly that, petty. They wouldn't survive what I've been through . Stuff them. 😠😡😂
All of you can be my family, if you'll have me. 😂💜
The continuing saga of "crapp". 😂
Ok, all that said, I'll try to be positive now. 😂

I better cook some veg tonight.

I meant to say hi to @Shaz51 and @Former-Member too. Hope your day is going ok. 💕

I know youre studying, plus I'm going off here very soon. 😊

Try distracting yourself like @Spooky said @Lil'caterpillar
Maybe not an hour in the loo though 😂
Walk around, pat the dog/cat. Play on your phoneanything 😊
I don't go to family get togethers anymore. I refuse to put myself through the trauma 😊
