Re: Complex PTSD - Depression - Anxiety - ADD - Fibro Myalgia/Chronic Fatigue - How do you "get over it"?
It's actually @Former-Member 's thread but she'll probably be interested in reading what you've written too. My understanding of BPD is that it is a trauma response, sharing many similarities with CPTSD. My personal opinion of BPD is maybe not the most helpful thing to share here and it's also a very difficult topic for me sit with so I'm going to stay well away from discussions about it. I'm sorry your experience with it has been nasty and unhelpful so far too. It tends to be that way for a lot of people.
Hope you find some support and things you find helpful. @Phoenix_Rising has some fab insight to share - she's kind of great 🙂

Yummy! Chocolate, thankyou @Spookytookims @CheerBear xo I'd love some with morning coffee. I am going to try SUPER hard today, to fight the negative thoughts that I struggle with daily. Unfortunately I have been hearing some hurtful things re my family that I have distanced myself from. Would prefer to not to hear about them, but somehow I always manage to. That's what happens when you live in the same area as them. Not so easy to move, I wish it was.
Lol, re the oinking cow (I think it was). I really need to think of funny things to distract myself from how I feel. I spend approx half an hour every night doing pilates/yoga and still wake with aches and pain (stress related, I think, from tension). I think the truck hit me in the middle of the night again, lol.
Weren't you able to sleep last night Spooky?
Are you painting today' CheerBear?
I hope that your little boy is feeling better today @Former-Member Very stressful for you seeing him so sick. xo
I hope that you are ok @Former-Member xo Life can be hard, thinking of you. xo
Hi @Former-Member xo Nice to meet you. Yes, I can relate to what you have written, the daily struggles. It can be very difficult. Lately I have been struggling alot and am having trouble getting out of this pit that I have been in for a while now.
I think I need another cuppa. I better not be on here too long. I have to shower and take my daughter to meet her friend.
How are you all today?
The workmen next door woke me up super early. I am still going to do my best to be positive today, no matter what, lol. Let's see how I go.

That's ok @Former-Member It can be difficult to keep up on the forums. I am not sure if I feel up to joining another thread just now, not coping lately and have been mostly on this thread and sometimes on the coffee/chat thread. But if you would like to mention the name of the thread, I could have a look at it sometime. You are welcome to join in here too, if you like. xo

@Former-Member ditto with the hugs and thoughts. I'm painting today again but doing it slowly. I just had another run in with the housing organisation and am way too close to exploding so maybe I'll pick up the pace again with that extra energy. Hope your trip out goes well. Cake later if we bump into each other? 💛

@Former-Member Initially, was up watching a cricket game so while watching it I was searching for some good Easter stuff. It's best to multi-task for my active brain 🙂 My pusscat woke me up today, the neighbour doing noisy stuff was a couple days ago, so can sympathise on that one. No idea what they were doing but it started off with slow hammering. Me being an intermittent insomniac, 7am if I've had a sleepless night, is just way too early to be rising and shining. Lol @ oinking cow.. no worries ... Cheerbear Grylls will probably have one of those around soon too. Was an oink bear, but your cow works too in the scheme of things. 🙂
@CheerBear Hope your painting is going well. Meant to say I have kind of similar colours in my house. Very pale green and a deep forest green, separated by a white dado 2/3 down. The Darker green on bottom, obviously. Also country setting so themed well. Lots of exposed beams in living and kitchen areas, dark stain n those. Fits well.
@Former-Member Have you heard of the serenity prayer? This isn't the original, it's the updated version. But they are very wise words. I'm still learning to do this. Think it's a lifelong journey.

Is it just me or is it eerily quiet around here at the moment? I feel almost nervous and like I'm kind of breaking the silence.
@Spookytookims- your house sounds beautiful. This house now has all bedrooms with the green feature wall and all the rest of the walls throughout are antique/cream white. There's a dado with white white up the top throughout most of the house except the bedrooms too. I have chocolate brown furniture (can't paint our house) with bright pops of colour in things like vases and table runner etc. Wish i could paint ours 😞
@Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Former-Member - hope today is ok. How are you all this afternoon?
