Macroangiopathy - A disease of the large blood vessels in which fat, blood clots etc build up and stick to the vessel walls and then block the flow of blood.

Plantar fasciitis - Inflammation of the plantar fascia, the bowstring-like tissue that stretches from the heel bone to the base of the toes. I know this one well because I have plantar fasciitis. It is rather painful and is characterised by pain caused by bone spurs in the heel.

MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Most of the time it is just called an MRI however it is handy to know what it stands for if you want to go onto further study.

Of course you are! I'm sure you're gonna nail it. Medical terminology is such a broad subject, there are always terms which will be new to you. Even doctors don't know everything! My GP recently got the results of my echocardiogram and didn't know what diastolic dysfunction meant. I had to explain it (I know what it is because I've had this since birth). I certainly don't think her any less qualified because she didn't know it. Chin up @outlander, you've got this!

I was lucky when I was studying my course, I was already working in the field as a medical transcriptionist. That helped me to cement what I had learned and put it into practice straight away. I'm sure you'll do well. Think of all the things you already know! 😉
