My most intense asd meltdown ever

My most intense asd meltdown ever

Hi everyone I wanted to share this today I had the most intense meltdown I ever had ans I was home alone i didn’t sleep well I had a headache sore throat and a upset stomach I was already exhausted and struggling I tried reaching out for support but the long wait made everything build up then I got a unexpected appointment call and taht was the final thing taht pushed my limit I ended up crying on the floor panicking and feeling completely out of control I even broke a glass candle which shocked me because I never broken anything during a meltdown before what stands out was to me is taht I put a garbage liner down the carpet before I did it almost like a part of me was still trying to keep things safe cold water on my face and neck helped me start calming me down and taking a headscpe. Make me feel less alone I am safe now but my body is sore and exhausted the meltdown seemed to go on for a very long time which made it scarier I think this experience showed me how important is to reach out for support before everything bulids up too much I am resting taking things easy

Hi @karzywet ,

Sounds like it was a really difficult time for you today. I can see why you must be feeling sore and exhausted. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and what helped you calm down.

I hope things improve for you, and that you continue to reach out so that hopefully, it doesn't build up as much.

We look forward to seeing you around on the forums.
