@Taali my dad chose to have his ashes scattered on a property 6 hours out of Sydney and I can't even get there to scatter them and my half sister refused to send me a small amount so that I could make a pendant with the ashes even though my father had agreed to this.

He's in your heart, his resting place is only where his physical body is. 💜🫂💐

@Taali as @TAB said, you can't really comment on the whys of what they allow and disallow otherwise you yourself get moderated. I would like to say it is incredibly ridiculous but I won't because that will be moderated out!

I often wonder whether the powers that be actually ever listen to the members and see what THEY want versus what is allegedly offensive or inappropriate.

This may seem a bit out there, but my friend whose partner died last year has had her ashes embedded in a glass thingo that her friend who is a glass blower makes.

I really can't describe them....

She's had them made for her partner's family and herself.

They're really very beautiful

@Taali there are several different things that can be done with ashes. I had spoken to my dad about having a pendant made and he liked the idea. My half sister however is an absolute evil bitch and refused to send me some of his ashes. They are being scattered in a weeks' time and she didn't even bother to tell us, we had to find out another way. I am struggling with forgiving her and not hating her at the moment. It's going to take some time.
