How Does Your Body React When You Are Depressed

How Does Your Body React When You Are Depressed

Was talking about this on another thread - but thought I would ask the question here so everyone could contribute.
I've noticed that when I start sliding into my depression, that my tolerance for pain plummets. Even to the point that I can't pluck my eyebrows.
Does anyone else react during periods of depression?

@Tarni. One of the best ways of coping I find, is to do breathing exercises.

Three deep breaths. Then just focusing all your attention on your breath. It can help to relax your body enough to stop the body symptoms.

I have a total lack of energy everything feels heavy humid aching slow wet hot cold uncomfortable like being nine months pregnant. My whole body feels like it's working overtime and my minds capacity to hold information is zero. Critical thinking is impossible.

@esprit. I understand that total lack of any energy. And forget trying to concentrate or memorise any new information. There is no space left in the brain for that.
