Can I be so bold @outlander to mentioned a carer saying about treating yourself the same way as you look after the person you care for 😀.

Re: Carers under 30...

lol @Former-Member i kninda knew that was coming. i am still abit stuck though. the appt i could have tomorrow i cant take because i need to get the kids and no one else is around to pick them up and i really worry about going back to that medical centre. i still dont know how they missed a serious injury like my hand.

@outlander

Things are difficult when trust is an issue, it can be a dilemma for us. Respectful communication is probably the key. Letting whoever you see know that you are concerned as previously a fracture was missed and you would rather err on the side of caution etc.

What I have found is that when I have felt angry about something, there are often other emotions underneath. Once I recognise what is happening underneath I can then deal with it in a constructive way.

I guess your right @Former-Member ill try to head down there in the morning hopefully it eont be too busy. Id rather be safe than sorry. Breaks are definitely not fun!

Ive seen that iceberg before too. It can be used for pretty much every emotion cant it. Ive been crochetting as a way to cope too. Am becoming addicted to it and have decided to make a blanket as a project. Keeps my mind and hands busy ao work quite well

How are you going tonight?
