Carers under 30...

Ah @Former-Member my possum, teenage sisters have a reputation for not being the most amicable of critters. As a carer we need to grow a rhino skin and get a rhino horn of wit and humour but underneath it all have an elephant size heart that is full of compassion towards not only the ones we care for but also to ourselves. You have shown yourself to be kind and helpful to others on the forum and kindness is a quality that counts. My tip - if the US (short for ugly sisters) start on you, fight it off with funnies, not with nastiness, remembering to laugh at yourself too...perhaps you could be Cinderella.

@Former-Member, my Cinderella, took me too long to learn to laugh at myself, but now I have, there is no stopping me. Even turning into mutton dressed up as lamb, got the dark red lippy out and at 55 discovered a fashion style that suits (on budget too - op shop finds with occasional new clothes but ALWAYS new undies.)

Ive got my psych appointment this morning and then ill be packing and getting final things done before i leave to go on holidays tomorrow morning... what are your plans for today?
