Disgusted with NDIS legislation

Disgusted with NDIS legislation

Hi all

2 weeks back the government passed aggressive legislation they claim is designed to safeguard the ndis.

This legislation has been shocking for many of us.

My experience with the ndis has been really hard. I cannot find ethical services.

I tried to advocate with my coordinator on friday and she escalated to the point of becoming personally insulting about my mental illness and also just saying im challenging to work with. Ive never met her and i had asked her to call me and not text and all i get are texts.

The scheme is full of fraud, wastage and unqualified ppl and yet the government is trying.to solve it by making access harder and limiting plans.

I feel betrayed by our government.

From what I have garnered around the traps "Difficult to work with" might work in your favour

Psychosocial disability apparently might focus on antisocial behaviours (Aggression, violence), as opposed to asocial (Isolation etc)

In terms of monitoring people on parole, it's relatively cheap to send a cleaner once a fortnight for a chat

Re: Disgusted with NDIS legislation

hi @DogMan79 i have a substantial psychosocial plan but can't get anyone to work with me, the ones that it works best for are those who are more asocial, because if you speak up you are likely to be seen as too savvy to defraud.

I don't have anti social behaviour, or aggressive.

@EternalFlower apparently that is changing, was my point

Somebody depressed and "bedrotting" involves very little liability for anyone. So more and more like that are being booted off or cut back
