Our Own Christian Chat Corner

Our Own Christian Chat Corner

@Enkeli69 @Realness @heartathome @Appleblossom

Hi precious Family maybe we can make this our new Christian chat?

*

*

An invitation to The Chosen.

God's Love will not take or will

you to conform to rules or demand

which imprison, enslave, burn or end you.

God's Love will not pervert what's Good

The Lord loves truthfully Wise and Good.

True Love was, is and always will be Good!

In God's Love you are free to be right!

In His love everything is good proper and kind.

He loves all who love good and true to rule!

His Love is caring, providing, and sharing.

His Love always enjoys and protects good life.

His love rules even when bad life has being in us!

Hear Jesus call - 'Come join up with us all!

Leave whatever ties you down and be free

loving good life with all God's own to be.'

To the rest in your heart God's asks

how long will you tarry in the darkness?

Please leave such bad existence within.

For life must not, no never should, or would, or could,

be forceful, rude, prideful, arrogant, selfish, lustful

or otherwise be untrue to God's loving truth.

Neither should life be hurting or ill,

hungry, oppressed, despised, hated

or otherwise have existence in wrong.

Please hand your Bad Life over to Jesus

Humbly ask for His Good Life back in return

and go love God, self and neighbour with Joy.

The Church knows that Jesus is coming soon

All bad life will be our shameful past then,

so please leave your bad life while you can!

Love

Re: Our Own Christian Chat Corner

Hi @Appleblossom It's so good to see you back on! 🤗 It's a rocky road to navigate and I'm still having some problems with the site. Since the upgrade I can only see a post if I've been tagged. Maybe this is how it's meant to be now for privacy. 🤔 I'm not sure if you go to the church you're talking about. I'm not even sure if you attend a church. Good on you for going to speak your mind. I hope they listen attentively to your suggestions. Sending you my hippy hugs and much love, as always. 💚

Re: Our Own Christian Chat Corner

I guess I am now part of 2 churches @heartathome

They both have different things to offer and different cultures and mini cultures within the larger establishment ... as is typical.. over human history

The first church was very slow to be nurturing to me, but has started, with the conductor giving me respect.... I needed to start looking elsewhere and found a Baptist Senior chapel service that met a few of my needs .... I do different forms of service in the different churches. We will see... God works in mysterious ways...though I do not like to be glib ... I probably angst too much over all the ethical considerations ...

Look after yourselves... through the forum kerfuffles

Privacy concerns are real, but also, can be corrosive in establishing commumication... its not a one size fits all ... human things are not meant to be mechanistic .... except... maybe some aspects ... for our beautiful motorcyclist friend ... I am re-reading ZEN and the Art of Motor Cycle Maintenance ... my church needs to be very broad...

The Canticle of the Reins

My Exile (The 4.5 Months)

The iron in my blood turned to be dust and ash,

Lied to I wandering Babylon controlling own host,

My sharp-tongue, let the whip lash paranoid crash,

There held the captive, my prison guards boast.

Vainly trying to hold the throne with hands of clay,

And cursed the night for not becoming my Today.

The Humbling (The Collision)

I fell upon the "small things," bruised and bent,

To find The King waiting The Truth of my dust.

The "I" I built by force was just a hollow tent,

Living monuments of pride and breaking trust.

To come with a head held low is not a life to lose,

It is the only path the humble of heart will choose.

The Altar (The Alchemy of Anger)

The fire was hot, the furnace white and wide,

To melt a Edom-heart, that hardened core.

anger is not a tool I will hide or give to pride,

But now I will sheath the weapon I held before.

It has use—a will of strength to stand and fight

But also in anger let The Spirit show the light.

The Victory (The New Creation)

As I pass the reigns, the "I" begins to fade,

The Living Water watering His Holy Seeds.

The sword of truth cuts away the price I paid

And so I am free to follow where The Truth me leads

No, wait—where He leads. The Way, the Truth, the Life,

Let His Love cut away angry life so i can end my strife.

Re: Our Own Christian Chat Corner

Luke 9:24 (ESV)

"For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it."

Some key Greek words

σῴζω (sōzō) — to save, rescue, preserve, make whole.

This can refer to physical rescue, but often means spiritual salvation and true life with God.

ψυχή (psychē) — life, soul, self, one's very being.

Jesus is speaking about more than just staying alive. He is talking about the deepest part of who we are.

ἀπόλλυμι (apollymi) — to lose, destroy, perish.

It can mean losing something completely or bringing it to ruin.

ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ (heneken emou) — for my sake.

This is the key phrase. Jesus isn't praising suffering for its own sake, but wholehearted devotion to Him.

Simple biblical summary

Jesus teaches that if we spend our lives trying to protect ourselves, keep control, or avoid the cost of following Him, we ultimately lose what matters most.

But when we surrender our lives to Christ—trusting Him, obeying Him, and putting Him first even when it's costly—we discover true life, both now and forever.

It's the great paradox of the Christian life:

Clinging to self leads to loss.

Surrendering to Christ leads to life.

Following Jesus often means letting go of our own plans and fears so that we can receive the fuller life He promises. It's a daily invitation to trust Him rather than ourselves. 🙏

it looks like the Matrix has fixed its glitch.

Hope everyone is travelling okay.

I am all right, struggling with family and unresolved issues with ex friend but God is good and I know He will lead my path the way I am to travel.

God bless everyone xoxo ❤️💐🫂🙏

@ENKELI

So good to see you can log in again. What a hassle its been. Glad to hear you staying on top of it.

@heartathome @Appleblossom @ENKELI @Realness @Jynx @MissGremlin @Lozenge

i finally had a good day. So thankful. The anger is finally dying instead of having me want to. MTS is incredibly effective but it is rather full on afterwards. Tomorrow back at it. I did get some anxiety this afternoon again. Yet it has been a peaceful day.

i feel i'm breaking free from the need to have my wife around to regulate. As a matter of fact being on my own has been good for my mind. No one to hassle me but myself. Been an eye opener all by itself. Finding myself back underneath all the pain.

Been reminiscing my wife a lot today. Bitter sweet. i know true love wont die. i have faith in love. If there is no true love what was it worth? Time will tell. i can see her dilemma as well.
