Cousin did it properly had actual footy goal posts as antennas all 2nd hand radios would talk to people overseas. Even learnt Morse to like twice the speed of army standards

Heh some guy near me had a huge antenna, was prob I to ham radio. There was one station I picked up in Shepparton, they had an ad for a chicken place. I remembered it for some reason recently and looked it up, found a guy on the Facebook page id been watching on YouTube.
