Where is everyone?

I text tech support multiple times a day! Today I'm having a bit more luck on here but I'm not optimistic that it will last. I don't know how to screenshot but it's okay. My son is concerned about me and has asked me to stay with him for a while, but I can't be bothered packing a bag. My GP is aware of things and has arranged fortnightly visits for the time being. I can't tell you how much this is affecting me!! I haven't been getting any notifications by email since this started. I really want to give up on this site but the people on here, yourself included, have become my friends. I know everyone else is in the same boat and I really feel for us all!

Just found your reply on the second page even though the latest page is 7. Thank you for your reply. I'm trying to remain optimistic about the site but feel like I'm losing the battle. I can't imagine what it's like for those who have been on here for years. I've only been on since September last year and am still finding it very distressing. 😔

I understand these system changes have been very impactful; it really is a lot to have your connection/support space become less useable (and we completely hear you on this!). I can see that things are especially hard with your friendship feeling one-sided & lack of sleep too. 😔

Hey @Chasingsunsets sorry for the lateness of my reply. I have only got back on in the last couple of days and have been going through messages - quite messy, since the link doesn't take me directly there arrrggghh! I am doing well thank you, got a couple of weeks to myself, since the school holidays are on and my casual work doesn't work through them. It's better than it was with nothing. Small steps forward, you know. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks for your support @AuntGlow I'm doing okay atm. I'm on extra meds to get more sleep now. They work but are known for putting on weight. I rely a lot less on my special friendship now. My expectations on what this friendship should be like has changed and my self-esteem and sense of value has taken a beating but I'm learning how to be a friend with someone in active addiction. It's about getting on with my life and enjoying the connection when it happens. I haven't seen a sunrise in a couple of days because of cloud but was able to put photos up of the last one I saw!! How exciting is that! I'm planning on catching it tomorrow as we are expecting sunshine. Now that I'm sleeping more, I'll have to set the alarm to make sure I don't miss it! 😁
