Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Hi @Phoenix_Rising - I think you may be struggling at the moment. It happens and I have discovered that life isn’t fair. I have no idea why. All this - “stuff happens for a reason” is a crock of sh*t. Some people are just unlucky.

Hope things improve for you soon. Thinking of you as I see many people are.

When we were at the beach yesterday I asked if one of mine could pick up a plastic bottle that had been left behind by someone and put it in the bin. Their response was along the lines how they had no problem with doing so as we have to watch out for the turtles (something about plastic hurting sea turtles). It was random goosebumpy moment

@Phoenix_Rising, I’m worried about you and I’m hoping (with the biggest giant-hope feelings) that the ocean has settled a bit over the weekend.

I think it is TTT eve (though at 2am is it really eve, or have we moved into day?). I hope talk talking with TTT helps a little, even though it is titanic-teaspoon-too much. I know she can (and will) validate your feelings in a way that isn’t possible for anyone to do here in Forum Land. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and that you matter to me. 🌷🐢
