Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Thank you @Phoenix_Rising because what you said, this, so much this.

I do wish I had words that were meaningful and that were not contaminated by misuse and overuse and damaged by the way they have been used in platitudinous ways. I even have trouble using emoji's cos of how meanings might not be what I think they are, and so on and so on and so on.

Whenever someone says that 'never say never' thing to me, I realise they have not heard a single word I've said. It breaks me all over again. There are a milliion reasons why I don't socialise, there are just some of the stories. LOL Have you seen The Naked City tv series? Old, old, old. watched it when i was growing up. 'There are a million stories in the naked city, this has been one of them' was part of the outro theme.

50 minutes a week is so small compared to the bigness of what you're dealing with Phoenix_Rising. I really like the concept of Operation Stay Alive.

I wonder what else we end up having in common. Interesting stuff all this is.

Dinner isn't far away, so if I slip away with no warning that will be why.

@Phoenix_Rising

I can see 2 robot faces in the 1st 1 & a pen full of chickens in the bottom 1 😉

. . . . I guess they could be baby Emus 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

@Former-Member and @Jupiter, I'm probably going to need MORE therapy now after going nuts trying to see these emus that are so readily apparent to you! On the bright side, I can see chickens!!!

@Former-Member You mean you consider it a win that you seem to be on the same wavelength as me? Er...you do know that my wavelength is a very special wavelength don't you?

Re: Riding a wave

It's forum curfew time for wonky little turtles. Time for me to snuggle into @CheerBear's pocket (super quietly because I'm pretty sure she's already in lala land) and listen to Thelma the Unicorn.

@Jupiter you will be watching the ocean for a little while longer won't you? And then super hopefully @SleepyPanda will take over.

Good night Forum Land. Oh and just in case anyone wants to read along, here's Thelma the Unicorn.

Re: Riding a wave

@Phoenix_Rising I would be honoured to be on the same wavelength as you, I know I'm not . . . but hey, we see the same chickens in the bottom picture - I'll take that win 😄
