Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Three rounds of a full cooked breakfast plus pancakes drowned in chocolate sauce and sprinkles = food coma. Need to start changing the world in an hour. Methinks there is something wrong with this picture. 😆

Here is Phoenix_Rising's health tip for the day: This is not a healthy choice for breakfast - especially after already eating a crazy amount of food from the breakfast buffet.

When I was walking back to my table with this creation, I could see a kid looking at me and thinking "I soooooo want want she is having." I could also see her mum thinking "you are sooooooo not having what she is having." I felt like going over and telling the child, "this is what you get to do when you are a grown up."

@Faith-and-Hope Dolt! You just reminded me that I made another thread in the social space to share the fun parts of this adventure. I had totally forgotten!!! I wonder if @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @NikNik or someone can move the relevant posts from the ocean to the thread in the social space??? Hmmm...this is a good example of how tricky it is to keep things seperate because this adventure has both super fun parts and super tricky parts due to all the other stuff that I am struggling with at the moment. Oh well, I still think I deserve points for super trying to follow the keep-threads-on-track rule @NikNik and @Former-Member.

Yeah, it can be tricky @Phoenix_Rising .... I guess all we can do is try .... and maybe think a bit in percentages .... whether the post has a higher percentage of social-spaces, or somethings-not-right, or looking-after-ourselves content .....

I am thinking aloud here, cos it applies to all of us.

I see you had some pancake with your chocolate sauce for breakfast today @Phoenix_Rising 😆

Hoping your day is going well and looking forward to the changed world. Really hoping email buses stay away for you, also.

Looking forward to hearing how your day has been if/when you share ☺

Re: Riding a wave

Good evening on the ocean, super big thank you for dropping by.

I am still very much running on empty and I'm afraid I don't have a lot to give in Forum Land at the moment. I'm super hoping that this will change soon, but at the moment it is what it is.

I am super enjoying my change the world adventure, but the wrongness of the wrong continues to spread its darkness across my mind, my body, and my soul. I really can't see right now how anything can bring light back into this darkness. I mean, I am changing the world. I have a voice in the space where I am right now, I am being heard here. And yet the darkness of that other muddle, that deeply deeply wrong muddle, overwhelms the good feelings around being heard here. That other muddle is just too reminiscent of the muddle of more than two decades ago. It is grossly, horribly, sickeningly, terrifyingly reminiscent. I do not matter, anybody can do anything to me, shhhhhhh don't tell.

Plan B is a step closer. I am desperately hoping that once plan B is enacted, I will feel safer. Nothing in the world can ever erase the wrongness of the wrong. This will be another memory that will sit in my brain forever. Somebody did harm to me. When I tried to speak out about it, I was silenced because the reputation of an organisation and the wellbeing of the one who did harm were deemed to be of greater value than my wellbeing. What situation am I describing? The one of two decades ago or the one I am living through right now? If you can't tell, then that tells you there is a problem!

I am Phoenix_Rising, but seriously, there are only so many times that even the Phoenix can rise again from the ashes!

Good night Forum Land. I'm not sure who is watching over the ocean right now, but thank you for doing so.

Thank you @Catcakes. I'm sorry I have nothing to give right now. I hope you are feeling supported by others here in Forum Land at the moment.
