Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

I am sorry for further adding to this for you @Phoenix_Rising

Re: Riding a wave

I’m not going to try to problem-solve because a) I hate it when people try to problem-solve me and b) I have no idea what the answer to any of this mess is … but for what it is worth, I am here in the storm, riding this SUPER gigantic wave with you @Phoenix_Rising. 🙁

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 You haven't added to it. I am so muddled. I thought everything was going to be talked through when NikNik and Lauz get home. Instead it seems like the forum guides have been edited in such a way that I simply cannot fit them together with, well, anything.

Re: Riding a wave

I'm so so SO confused. I'm scared to say anything because I don't understand anything about any of this. I super badly want @Faith-and-Hope to help with bridge building. I don't even know where to start, I'm so muddled.

Yep seen that too @Phoenix_Rising - just another thing done 'behind the scenes' with no notifiction - I'm really p*ssed (and yes I'm that angry I'm swearing)

I'm so so so SO confused. It says you can call the HC if you need support, but not if you are distressed. Surely the time you need support is when you are distressed??? If you weren't distressed, why would you need support??? @Zoe7 @Former-Member

@Phoenix_Rising this is just another thing done - without thinking about the consequences

Re: Riding a wave

I’m not so good at self-care @Phoenix_Rising. I desperately try to find control somehow (of something). Lately I’ve been doing lots (and I mean LOTS in a very compulsive way) of sudoku. I also make (super basic) origami paper stars because they require zero brain power and keep my hands busy.

I am scared to say anything too. I got home this afternoon to be smacked in the face with the updated Forum Guides. Everything is so incongruent. 🙁

Re: Riding a wave

@Former-Member I super like sudoku too!

@Zoe7 gailthefish said today that If anything on the forums does trigger you or brings something up for you, you are welcome to contact the Help Centre between 10am and 10pm. The edited guides has triggered me. Do you think that means I could call the HC or not? @Former-Member???

I am so so so SO confused. I thought we were waiting for NikNik and Lauz to come home to unmuddle the muddle.
