I'm really sorry to hear that your support has been reduced so significantly. I can only imagine how disheartened and frustrated you feel, especially feeling unsupported by your NDIS team.

Would reaching out to an advocacy service like the Disability Advocacy Network Australia be something you would consider? Through their directory, you can search for an advocate in your state.

You're definitely not alone and I'm glad you reached out on here, hopefully some other members who have been through similar situations can share their experiences and what helped them.

I'm not in the same boat, but can empathise with you.

It must be terribly difficult to feel cut off and unsupported.

Honeymoon's advice seems sound.

Is there a possibility of linking with another planned team?

Maybe try the highly underrated Google Search for planners near you.

I know that jumping through hoops and starting again can seem arduous and stressful, but it might be worth trying when you're up to it.

hey @Taali plan managers pay ndis invoices eg are book keepers but they don't provide any other support or guidance, so i'm not looking for a plan manager. Ndis planners are the delegates who decide the plan but we don't get to choose those unfortunately. They are given to us by the NDIS

@Honeymoon thanks for that, i haven't thought of an advocacy service, it could be a great help. I am drained from advocating 😞

I was told not to bother fighting it, so ... I fought it even harder.

I have a meeting with the NDIS coming up to discuss it further.

I was sad my team didn't support me, they thought I was being difficult trying to get more funding, but I am not someone who gives up easily
