I’m really sorry to hear you had such a rough night, that kind of broken sleep can leave everything feeling so much heavier.

It sounds like you’ve done some really grounding things for yourself this morning though with your shower, breakfast, and coffee. That’s a really good start after such a difficult night.

What book were you reading?

I hope the rest of today feels a bit gentler for you, and that your assignment goes okay. Maybe the rain will give you an excuse to leave the lawns for another day 😊

The book I was reading is called Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Okay. I need to pick a new book now from my to read pile beside my bed. It's a tough choice.

I'm hoping the rain will give me an excuse not to do the lawns and I can have a guilt free afternoon of rest.

I haven’t heard of that book before, hopefully you enjoyed it @NightFury 😊 There’s something nice about choosing a new book from the pile, even if it’s hard deciding what to start next. I’ve got so many books myself that I’m slowly getting through.
