Saturday Soiree -- 16th May 2026

@DogMan79 hey there. My tummy a bit sensitive to coffee as well ha. Just drinking water for now. Hope you're okay

Yes 10 pages for today so far @DogMan79

Wonder if we will beat our 16 pages by tonight 🤔

I have found a great service at my local library. I can select, have books delivered and collected by a REAL person.

Absolutely 💯 brilliant as I am currently unable to walk or drive.

It's also nice to have a quick visit. If I can't find an appropriate book they will select for me.

I must say that I was more than a bit put out when a large print book arrived... hehehe 😂

@Taali fantastic service re library. So nice to be connected a bit in the local community ha

Hi @Taali

In my mother's later years, she used ebooks. Kobo devices will usually connect to your local library, or libby app on smartphones

And any book can be large print that way, without the chonky book

@DogMan79 the ebooks sound like good solutions

Hey @Shaz51

How has your day been?

I haven't been up to much. Just studied a bit and went for a walk. Enjoying the nice weather while it lasts.

@Meowmy but I'm not that old

Or am I?

Life is sooo confusing.

A note re the library service. Lovely woman is kind to my dog

That's a bonus

@Lapis_Anteater @Shaz51 @DogMan79

@Taali you are not old ha ha ha. Very good lovely lady who is nice to your dog. Have a good evening.

@DogMan79 thanks for the reassurance
