@creative_writer hey creative writer you are very thoughtful and logical. You're right re lived experience clinicians. We have so much insight.

Just on the forum now. Have a friend wanting to chat later. Just had dinner

Might fold the washings away ha. Take care. Have a good evening

She says to read a book when I wake

up to go to the loo in the middle of the night @creative_writer . I will read a novel. Reckon I’ll be in bed by 8.30 tonight.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

@Meowmy when the time comes I can work with people. Having lived experience adds additional insight. I do still recognise my experiences will be different to others’ experiences of mental illness. I do also get a lot out of talking to people about their experiences. I hope you have a chill evening💖

@GezzaP is there anything you are reading right now?

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

Yes @creative_writer , I have a novel can’t remember what it’s called seems ok not too absorbing. Getting really tired might go to bed soon.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

@GezzaP nothing wrong with an early night. I’m going to take my meds soon, I need to give them some time before they kick in. I hope tomorrow will be a better day, I feel absolutely shattered right now

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

Well @creative_writer I only slept for two hours. Trying to go back to sleep but wide awake. Keep trying I guess. Hope you are sound asleep.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

@GezzaP I hope you can rest up today. I found it really hard to get out of bed, I think I might have a viral infection

In response to: Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

Oh no that’s no good @creative_writer . Hope it’s not a virus. I feel good so far today. Cooking tacos for lunch. Pay day today yippee. Will be able to pay off my credit card. Might have a nap after lunch - see if I’m tired. Going to the pub mid-afternoon for a few drinks. Used a jalapeno chilli out of my garden for tacos.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

@GezzaP I think it is viral, it's been a few days.

Tacos sounds good. I'm hoping to get some uni done today, I'm waiting for the PRN to kick in. Feeling overwhelmed, but I have lost my ability to articulate what is going on for me

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 9th May 2026

Just aim to do some uni work @creative_writer . What are you studying? I did history and politics majors. Did honours and PhD in history. Then worked in Politics Dept. retired nearly 13 years ago - took a redundancy package. Love being retired except is hard sometimes with all the bills going up and groceries too.
