Re: No polarm

Hey @Dubboite

Thanks for the tag @tyme 💚

It sounds like you're going through an incredibly taxing time right now. Managing these cycles for over 30 years shows a massive amount of resilience, but that doesn't make the current battle any less exhausting, especially when you feel that familiar pull of things becoming complicated against 💚

It makes complete sense why you took on the extra work. Waiting for a new job to start creates significant uncertainty and pressure. However, it is okay to acknowledge that adding more to your plate might be making it harder to stay steady.

Since you've recognised that things are getting complicated, try to give yourself permission to look at what is absolutely necessary right now versus what might be pushing you into that manic or overwhelmed space. Your primary goal is getting to that new start as healthily as possible.

Be gentle with yourself. You've navigated these waters before, and you have the experience to get through this stretch, too 💚

Re: No polarm

Hi @Dubboite

Bipolar really is a tough disorder. It takes enormous strength to continue battling it, let alone trying to hold down a job simultaneously. Do you have support from a psychologist/psychiatrist or other support person? You are definitely not alone. Is there anything you could do to simplify your life? It might be helpful to try and refocus on what your ultimate goals and values are and work on realigning with them.
