Hi @Former-Member, yes, SARCOMA was the first word that came to mind for me too but wonder if your lecturer was looking for 'fibrosarcoma' Cut & paste this for you:
Primary bone cancers (tumours) are a specific subtype of a group of cancers known as sarcomas. Sarcomas are cancers that start in bone, muscle, connective tissue, blood vessels or fat, and can be found anywhere in the body. There are several types of primary bone cancers: - Osteosarcoma, also known as osteogenic sarcoma - starts in bone cells in the arms, legs or pelvis. - Chondrosarcoma forms in cartilage cells. - Ewing tumor / sarcoma, starts in the bones, but can also start in other tissues and muscles. - Fibrosarcoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma typically develop in the soft tissue around the bones, such as tendons, ligaments, fat or muscle. Often arms, legs or jaw.

You're there to learn, so do what would best help you learn. I don't think it matters if you get it wrong, just as long as you work out why and keep on going.

Yep I'd flick your teacher an email. She'll probably be impressed with the amount of thought that has gone into your answer @Former-Member

Yes, doesn't hurt to clarify the question. Flick her an email asking if your on the right track. I was surprised to read 'sarcona' included tumours in soft tissue as well as bone. Guess its all part of the skeletal system.
Keep at it, take a short break every 20min - stretch, little walk, look around 🙂
